I photographed these 3 dead Scots pines in Glen Affric, before 50 hectares there were fenced for natural regeneration in 1990, in the 1st major project by Trees for Life. The 2nd photo shows the area on 31st July, when I showed it to Eoghan Dalton, author of Irish rainforest book
