Did you watch The Hack? I can't believe papers have gotten away with destroying lives for so long. That's why I've signed the petition, set up by Hugh Grant and other phone hacking victims, to demand fair, independent regulation. Join me: https://t.co/ie0jiX03nH via @38degrees

If hereditary peers in the House of Lords is wrong then how can the Head of State be hereditary. Removing the last hereditary peers is a hood first step but it should lead to a debate about our constitution being modernised completely.

Protesting against and opposing the Monarchy is not unlawful. It is not unlawful to find Prince Andrew’s activity disgusting. It is not unlawful to want the Royals to pay tax. The Police know this but arrest protestors anyway. The real two tier policing.

Trump’s invite for a “state visit” for a banquet with King Charles III will be completely out of step with Britain’s view of Trump and US policy on Ukraine and gender rights. Wealthy people discussing how they will divide the resources of the world for their own benefit.

The above the law privilege of the Royals to avoid scrutiny is Feudal hangover that has no place in a modern democracy. The King has Sovereign Immunity, however, all other Royals are subject to the law. Yet their privilege protects them. https://t.co/4GVR35fHgz

The UK gives a significant privileges to one family who have no merit, no understanding of the ordinary lives of people and no responsibility. Only interested in their own business. Debate required on the monarchy and a modern constitution.

More Royal scandal, unchecked privilege, above the law, oblivious to normal behaviour, entitled. The time is now to end the monarchies unearned place in governance of the U.K. and debate a modern democratic alternative.

News that King Charles not only charges the RNLI and charities he is also charging £45 to new MPs for a digital photo him and the MO is Farage level grifting. It illustrates that the Royals are just a money making business, not tradition, not democracy.

This is the official photo of the King for Burns night. The pretence that the Royal Family has any affinity to Scotland other than owning Balmoral and vast tracks of profitable land and coastline is performative art. A presentation of Scottishness for PR purposes not kinship.

The Royal Family not only avoids taxation, receive a massive amount of money from the Crown Estates, avoid equality laws and get preferential treatment in all areas of life. They exploit the tax payer, NHS and charities as well. Time for a proper democracy.

Prince William charges the tax payer for a derelict, empty prison. If the U.K. wants to escape from this feudal system of exploitation we need a new democratic constitution without being shackled to the past and a royal licence to fleece the tax payer.

Tone death King Charles turns up to a food bank in a helicopter. The cost of the flight and the security for the PR trip, if donated, would have helped those desperate to feed their families. PR to promote the King rather than help those in need.

Kings speech is full of empty platitudes to the selfless people who volunteer and work in the NHS. He avoids paying tax and profits from their compassionate work. The taxpayer pays him £millions to line his own pockets. Time for a democracy where we can sack a Head of State

Kings speech on Christmas Day, (recorded weeks ago) is the annual use of seasonal goodwill to maintain the Royal firm power to make money for themselves and avoid taxation. It propagandises Christmas as though it is bestowed by the King. expect the usual mundane platitudes.
