Although we designed the self-sampling packs for use in the Accelerated Partner Therapy Trial, we've seen them used in COVID & our learnings can be applied to self-sampling of other infectious diseases too.

We drew on a range of tools from behavioural science and health psychology to systematically optimize STI and BBV self-sampling packs with the intent of increasing their reach and effective use. These included behaviour change techniques (BCTs).
