@rosadelauro "Instead of a first dose within 24 hours of birth — as the CDC has advised for more than 30 years — the panel voted to recommend delaying it until a child is 2 months old for children born to mothers who test negative for the virus." That doesn't seem too radical? Am I missing

@Bayne_roe @DerrickEvans4WV There’s a yield sign indicating that cars should slow down and look for cross traffic. The car’s at fault but the biker could understand that crossing traffic is inherently very dangerous since drivers often don’t anticipate bike traffic and slow down.

As a mom, doctors “recommending” shots children do not need, while also “recommending” masking toddlers and school through screens, is why none of us trusts you anymore. YOU destroyed America’s immunization industry. Go away while we fix it.

As a liver doctor who has treated patients with hepatitis B for decades, this change to the vaccine schedule is a mistake. The hepatitis B vaccine is safe and effective. The birth dose is a recommendation, NOT a mandate. Before the birth dose was recommended, 20,000 newborns a

why was the CDC recommending that doctors should go into the delivery room when babies were minutes old and pushing a vaccine on a newborn for a disease that you can only get from intravenous drugs and sex acts to begin with?

The most dangerous addiction today isn't a substance. Research on 100,000 people confirms that heavy short-form video use is just voluntary cognitive decline. We are actively training our brains to fail at hard tasks. If you can simply sit with a problem for 10 minutes without

Has weed culture in the U.S. peaked? The Free Press’s Josh Code on a 2026 Massachusetts ballot initiative that would end the use of legal recreational marijuana in the state. “Americans are waking up to the fact that weed legalization was not what they were promised,” he says.

A baby who contracts HepB in the first year of life has a 90% chance of developing chronic HepB. A patient with chronic HepB has a 25% chance of cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. We have no cure for HepB. For 30 years, we had a universal vaccine plan. Until today.

We know exactly which newborns are at risk for Hepatitis B - and more importantly, which aren’t. Every year we have been giving millions of infants a shot they don’t need for public health theater. That ended today. Thank you, @RobertKennedyJr

The Heb B argument in one sentence. We’re treating a disease that spreads through blood or sexual contact like a universal newborn crisis, even when the mother tests negative, the baby has zero behavioral risk, and the long-term safety data is nowhere to be found.
