Yesterday, Yr 10s visited @UHMBT to find out about the huge variety of careers on offer in the NHS. From the Maternity ward to resuscitation, a tour of hospital & seeing an air ambulance land on the hospital helipad, students really enjoyed it.

Celebrating the end of the A-level exams with the Class of 2025. The Sixth Form Leavers' Ball took place last Friday at Lancaster Town Hall.

We had over 170 entries for the @LRGSEnglish Open Day competition & really enjoyed reading about who you'd invite to Mrs Hudson's birthday party. The winners will each get a book from the LRGS Book Awards Shortlist. They'll be delivered to your primary schools soon!

Thank you to @oldlancastrian Colin Povey for visiting school yesterday. Colin is the former chairman of Warwickshire County Cricket Club. He has also been Chair of England Netball and a Director of Northampton Saints Rugby Club as well as CEO of Carlsburg.

Our Year 7s are having great fun on their camping trip, so far they have tried canoeing, climbing, and lots of games involving teamwork. All topped off with a BBQ. Whatever the weather has in store!

Year 7 Geographers have been on a trip to the Yorkshire Dales investigating limestone landscapes. The visit combined a walk up to Gaping Gill as well as a visit to Ingleborough Caves.

Thank you to Chartwells Nutritionist Iona for visiting last week to deliver a food waste workshop. Chartwells are on a mission to help fight food waste and by creating a deeper understanding of how we can make small practical changes and develop better habits at school and home.

Sixth Form D&T students have been involved in an exciting project with The Loyne Specialist School to design and produced sensory toys. The children were excited to play with the final designs today!
