A huge thank you to parent Julian Ellsworth for visiting to give a talk as part of our 'careers insight' programme. He is a Director for The Foresight Group & gave a hugely informative presentation about his journey as an engineer into the solar energy sector.

Last @LRGSLancaster Speech Day today. This time returning as an OL. Lovely way to finish off the school days and chance for a brief catch up with friends since they all started uni. An excellent motivational speech by @thogdad.

Delighted to meet former MP Andrew Lewer, seen here in the Politics Room pointing to his old constituency. "I have a particular regard for state schools with boarders having attended such a school myself. The staff & the Sixth Formers I met clearly love the school & rightly so."

Schools are made of stories as well as buildings. Read Dr Pyle's latest blog post for a wonderful story from a former Headmaster's daughter about her life at LRGS. https://t.co/3UHbbbzE09
