A fire ban is in place for Banff, Yoho & Kootenay Parks. The fire ban applies to all areas of these parks, incl day use, front & backcountry campgrounds. If you see any wildfires, illegal campfires, or suspicious smoke, report to Banff Dispatch at 403-762-4506 or, call 911

#LakeLouise firefighters were proud to participate in todays inter-agency exercise with our Bow Valley #MutualAid partners.
Canada Task Force 2 along with response partners from around the region supported the Town of Canmore with a large-scale wildfire exercise including mock evacuations and the deployment of structural protection units today. Thank you to @CanmoreFireRes and @TownofCanmore
