We need to do better. It's not just #Lyme we need to worry about, but the plethora of co-infections that can really knock you out. Hard to diagnose with tests and also difficult to treat. Kudos to the LLMD's on the front line!
Multiple infections can be passed in one bite from a tick, yet docs wrongly tend to look for #Lyme only, which they frequently miss bc of extremely poor testing, titers which take weeks to show (if at all), and lack of knowledge abt clinical diagnosis. #TreatTheBite
