A visit to Portman Road on 22 August 1978 was a great trip for the Liverpool team. Graeme Souness opened the scoring after 17 minutes, then Keny Dalglish bagged a brace. A 3-0 win over Ipswich Town was a nice outcome of that Tuesday evening.

John McLaughlin was a promising midfielder who didn't really fulfilled his potential at Liverpool. He scored two League goals for the Reds and they both came in the first half of a 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town at Anfield on 22 August 1970. The 18 YO lad had a night to remember!
