Turtles. Who doesn’t love them? Due to our awful human habits we’re endangering these magnificent creatures. Turtle Conservation And Education Center is doing great work and we are raising funds to support their work. Please share and donate generously.

We at @GoodBitchesBake have been heading out to Rimutaka on Saturdays, teaching prisoners how to bake and then taking the sweet treats to Women’s Refuge. It’s been an amazing lesson on the impact that kindness can have not just for those receiving it, but for those giving it.

Attended the opening of new maximum security prison at Paremoremo this morning. What struck me most was the heart felt intent of the Corrections Leadership to create a humanistic environment for the prisoners and their visiting families. Seriously impressive!
