MASSIVE 🙏 to our LEAP member Gerber Gereen Anderson who went to the zoo on Tuesday & got footage of Lucy. She has footage of them yet again, fixing a new foot toe nail problem, & not the same foot. & probably most shockingly, the keeper positioning Lucy over a drain to poop in!

Ever since Lucy arrived at the Edmonton Valley Zoo in 1977, her birthday has been “celebrated” on July 1st. Not willing to actually research her birth date, the zoo chose Canada Day, July 1st, as her birthday. LEAP wishes all 🇨🇦supporters a Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 & for you, Lucy.
