This was my mission area in the late 70s. The mission President drew a boundary line on the wall map and told us not to go in there (I don’t know the exact coordinates of this story) as there were some crazies clear back then. It’s beautiful country but sad stories like this ruin.

Had a wonderful reunion last night with people from the church who grew up together many years ago. What great memories!. It was so fun reliving old times, hearing about things I’d forgotten, and relaying stuff they had forgotten about. It was almost like an Alma and Ammon.

Where do I start? Let’s deal with each one of these issues instead of trying to gloss over things. 1. The high housing prices have nothing to do with the amount of land available. It has everything to do with the fact that monopolistic corporations are buying up all of these.
Some argue that *all* federally owned land must remain in federal hands—in perpetuity. Why not set aside a fraction of one percent of that land for to make homes more affordable?.

I attended two funerals today. One was expected due to age, the other was not. But both men were sound, strong members of the church who were adored by their children and grandchildren. Great stories and memories. It makes you wonder what people will say about you when that.
