Check our @TrendsCognSci paper-differences in brain and cognition in aging do not necessarily reflect age changes! Greater effects of modifiable factors early in life. Should #aging and #AD research look to development? @LCBC_UiO @AndersFjell @lovdenlab

Love brain imaging data? We have an open analysis position. MRI, PET, EEG data from large samples, implementation and development. Very social and active inter-disciplinary center. Lots of opportunities, lots of fun.@LCBC_UiO @LifebrainEU @Psykologiskinst

Would you rather be smart or educated? We see that smart people show less brain change in aging, regardless of education and polygenic scores. 7000 longitudinal MRIs. Great work by @KWalhovd and the @LifebrainEU & @LCBC_UiO teams

Preprint! Liisa Raud tested hippo-cortex FC n=751 w rest + two memory tasks: retrieval shows a specific pattern indicative of a task-general process; encoding reflects context-specific demands, not a task-general cognitive construct - quite cool @LCBC_UiO

We are very honored to have Denis Le Bihan presentin “Diffusion MRI: Past, Present and Future.” What an incredible opportunity to learn about the history of diffusion MRI from one of its parents. Dynamic, funny and very informative

We have amazing administrative staff here at LCBC! Not only do we get lovely Christmas decorations, but also festive food and drink to help us with covid-blues <3 Some of us still need to go to the office to keep research going, and such things make the days more pleasant.

We are very happy to host the ongoing Lifebrain consortium meeting in Oslo. It's nice to meet in person and discuss papers, proposals, and the future of our collaborations in person with our great international colleagues.
The #Lifebrain team are finally meeting after 2 years of only online meetings. We are having a hybrid consortium meeting, as many are still not able to travel, but we are thrilled to be in Oslo and to have in person contact.
