Brand new winter tyre wrecked a few weeks ago on @Warwickshire_CC roads - causing no end of grief hours prior to leaving for a drive to France, and leaving me an additional £200 out of pocket. The disgraceful state of UK roads is an national embarrassment.

If @oasis really didn't have any idea about the bandit Ticketmaster dynamic pricing for their tickets, surely the solution is for the band to demand all purchases be reverted to their original price, and @TicketmasterUK refunds everyone the 'dynamic' overs. .

Queued overnight outside HMV in Glasgow to get Oasis tickets for the Loch Lomond gig in '96. £22 each. In the unlikely event of me getting through via @Ticketmaster I'll be charged more in fees just for the privilege to be bent over for vastly more expensive tickets.

Bought one of those portable A/C units for my baking hot office yesterday on Amazon for £246.49. Price today is £289.99. Price escalating quicker than the temp. Might flip it if the prices keep rising. Apols for the inevitable end of summer when it arrives tomorrow. #profiteering.

Interested by the reaction to two new cars this week. Lots of gushing over the TWR Jag, but lukewarm reception to the new Ferrari V12. It’s always better to wait to see in reality, but initial thoughts here is the Jag looks awful and the new Ferrari’s got potential. We’ll see….
