We have around 250 volunteers that help in some way shape or form at the state meet! Big thanks to this group and all of the others! They did a great job and saw some state meet records set! Thanks Scott and crew!.

Part of the team behind the teams right here! Tyler specifically was instrumental in the state T&F meet. A lot of planning. The first to arrive each day (at 5am). WSU athletics did a great job helping us put on a great meet!.
Shoutout to Kayla Jost, Brad Pittman, Tyler Good, Bobby and Trish Gandu and countless others who made @WichitaState the perfect venue for the @KSHSAA Championships ⚾️🥎🏅

Long day of set up for these guys (and others) today at the stadium. Excited to see how they showcase the best in our state over the next 48 hours!. So pumped for the next couple days!!.
All quiet now. But in just a few hours nearly 4,000 athletes and thousands of fans will file in for the largest high school track meet in the nation! .But for tonight its “a hell of a view” .@KSHSAA @sportsinkansas

Many hands make light work! . Our staff & families start working on state T&F in August although most of the work is done in the last couple weeks. Big thank you to the many staff and our families who put in the time. Trailer is packed! See you all at Wichita State tomorrow!

The amount of progress made in Kansas high school basketball the past few years has been awesome. Thankful to the @KSHSAA BOD members for their forward thinking and to @Kyle_Doperalski for his willingness to listen to the ideas of coaches around the state openly! 🏀.

The 2A-6A brackets are advanced and set. Here is a look at the 160 games around the state on March 4 and 5. 480 officiating assignments made, input into arbiter, accepted by officials whose availability hasn’t changed since they declared dates, which games are 6p/7p. Ready, GO

Very tough to see. Carried @580SportsTalk & @WIBWNews torch a long time. Stuck w station when KSU transitioned multimedia rights. Called NCAA Bball Tourney for @westwood1sports. Radio/TV PxP, sports talk, FB sideline, TV anchor, Bball color, etc. Remember him on KS HS football.
For 17 years, Greg Sharpe spoke past the microphone and into our hearts. His legacy will be woven into the moments he narrated and carried on through the relationships he built. We are deeply saddened by Greg’s passing and send our deepest condolences to the Sharpe family.
