Hi @UofGVC, I’m one of many of #TeamUofG on fixed term contract. I ❤️ my students, I ❤️ teaching, I ❤️ research. But continuous precarity has significantly affected my mental health & desire to stay in academia. Can we truly be #WorldChangingGlasgow if we are ok with this?

Hi @UofGVC. Do you know the effect that precarity has? Not knowing if you’ll have a job; not able to make any life plans; absolutely no security? That’s my reality since finishing PhD 4.5 years ago. How can we be #WorldChangingGlasgow if #TeamUofG labour under these conditions?
