This is completely ridiculous and infuriating. I’m sorry this happened @TheAmandaGorman. I will continue to promote this book (and others that have been banned) in my school library. My students will hear it.

My students ask me almost every day when this is coming out! They will be happy that I can finally give them a date but sad that it’s so far away.

This is absolutely horrifying. I proudly have this amazing book in my library. @Scholastic you need to do better. Just add this to the growing list of reasons why I (a school library teacher) will never work with Scholastic again. Many of my colleagues feel the same.
