The debut week is by far the craziest in Afrobeats in recent times. That’s also why i personally had higher expectations, and no it’s not about being hot on 100 or breaking into the US. Of course he is a victim of his own standard but it didn’t fulfill commercial potential.
Wiz album met commercial expectation like crazy, the problem with us now is that if anything ain't sleeping in Billboard top this and that, it aint successful, we've made people like Wizkid a victim of their success. We need to redefine the meaning of commercial success.

The perks of being at the Top is crazy man. Wizkid dropped a masterpiece of a project in my opinion but didn’t hit commercial expectations,.Now he’s compensating for that by going on a feature spree and murdered Every track. You gotta respect it tbh.

Our society is cooked and we don't know it yet. The dysfunction we are witnessing now is a result of parents born in the 70s and 80s. I doubt want to imagine how things will be when Kids from the current youth get older. It affects us all and it just seems normal.

Its easy to say it from your POV as an artiste. Buh producers have stories for days.Especially with the ones that keep beats pending only to pay the big producers well and still keep beats pending. Of course a balance is needed.But don't just see from your POV as an artiste.
