The Weald to Waves team has developed the brilliant BioBox loan scheme, providing kits with ecological survey tools to support wildlife identification, from educational bioblitz events to long-term monitoring. This project has been generously supported by @LloydsBank .

This year we supported Wild Futures: This project empowers young people to overcome barriers to accessing nature. We launched a residential education site at Knepp, created a nature recovery curriculum, and piloted a @DofE course.

A milestone year for the White Stork Project: 53 storks fledged, doubling our 2023 record! Nine storks have been fitted with satellite tags. A new live nest cam captured the first stork fledging to ever be televised in the UK.

A landmark year for @WealdToWaves : Weald to Waves aims to create a 100+ mile nature recovery corridor through one of the most built up areas in the UK. This year saw: 🚜 100 new landholdings registered 🌱 1000 gardens and greenspaces logged 📍 20,500 hectares pledged

#WildFutures: Introducing our first ever Young Guides. Meet Becca, Izzy, Ned and Jasmine, who have been selected as part of a new @WealdtoWaves job creation scheme. Starting @kneppwilding, they will be supporting school trips and youth group visits. Great to have them on board!
