On the 1% chance this leaves the target audience: Everything compounds. In a vacuum, things taking a bit long isn't bad, it everything takes longer than it needs to and it all adds up to an experience that drags. Pacing issues exist in old games, just like they do in new ones.

There's also the whole thing with using different animal buddies on KDL3 to give you different benefits, some including movement, but even base Kirby runs pretty fast. Not lightning speeds, but still fast. There's stuff you can critique about KDL3 but why the running speed????

This tweet is fine, you can nitpick and say KDL2 walk speed is fine but there's no run. KDL3 walk speed is crazy slow, K64 walk and run speed are too. What are these replies saying that KDL3 Kirby's run speed is slow? People will make up anything to trash on KDL3 ๐ญ

Yes, I know the remake exists, and yes, the remake is better and is genuinely the best game of all time, Kirby or not. But... the original still rules??? Always has and always will, hello????? Also the soundtrack is the best. It just is.

No more Ms. Nice Puppy, time to start some beef! I can't stand that there's a loud enough vocal minority that insists this isn't one of the best Kirby games ever. An absolute visionary that guides the series to this day, still easy to pick up and play & is an absolute blast! ๐ฅฐ
