Meet @smbraidwood our Deputy Head of Podiatry for @NHSLanarkshire! We had a Q&A session here's the results! Why podiatry? Wished to teach PE but had a knee injury. Ended up at the #Podiatry dept for rehab & the input made me reconsider. Changed to @GCUPodiatry, I don't regret it!

The Surgeons' Hall Riot happened #OTD in 1870. The Edinburgh 7 arrived at Surgeons' Hall to sit their anatomy exam & were met by a crowd of male students & several hundred onlookers who opposed of women studying medicine. Not to be deterred the women went on to sit their exam.

🦶🧵What do you like about working for NHSL? After completing my 6wk placement in 4th year within the North West Unit team I managed to get a job in as well. I was accepted from the moment I was a student & made to feel part of the team from day one and this has never changed.
