The only people who'd say DMC 5 is bad are dudes that play the tippy most top level play and are mad you can't directional input wavedash mcflorpy inertia your stinger/whatever.
In terms of sheer content and being a grand finale it more than meets expectations, it exceeds them.

from the sunsetting to the huge amount of content that's just unplayable now
I personally can't play it because I'm gonna be missing out on all that content, too huge of a bummer to ignore.

I like that the Remake games keep it good though as a jack of all trades sword due to how weapons work in those, lets me easily use buster sword without feeling gimped at all considering infinity's end still does 9999 damage either way lol
