While I was typing this we are also normalizing the r word in mass. Cool to see this happening in realtime. Just repeat the slurs because we can’t think of anything else. Again skill issue for anyone that is fermented fecal brained asshats, I know we can do better ❤️.

I’m upset for the trans members in our community that voiced their reasonable complaints/concerns and were met with dismissal and repulsive behavior from others in the community. Hasan’s use of the word hurt but I assume the communities defense of its usage hurt more 🏳️‍⚧️.

If we are going to defend the use of slurs because it was a quote or in the name then step up and quote slurs in the replies without censoring. I would love to know who I won’t be interacting with in this community.

I won’t speak for the trans community but if I thought using WB would stop ICE, stop a genocide, stop violence against trans people or just make conditions better then yes we can discuss dropping “a tactical WB”. I assume no one that is serious believes this, right?.

We can fight and oppose a genocide, we can fight and oppose ICE, we can fight and oppose violence against trans lives, we can make things better… while not using slurs.

Hasan is a skillful orator/yapper, skilled enough not to use a slur even when quoting someone else. Does saying slurs has “strategic value”, is it back to the “Tactical slur” conversation? I will never agree with this and I don’t think dismissing these concerns is unproductive.
