Especially as that book got 40 fulls. I didn’t want to miss an opportunity & watch it die in the trenches! Worth noting that my offers didn’t come from the R&R agents so I’d recommend really agreeing w/the changes before you undertake that work because nothing is guaranteed! (3)

Now I can see that I queried way too early. It was my first book and I was so eager to enter the trenches (lol). The R&Rs were spot on though, pointed out the same issues & so I was happy to use the feedback as an opportunity to grow and improve my MS (2)

I got 5 (!!!) R&Rs when I first queried my book & whilst it was crushing at first, now I’m SO grateful well-regarded agents took the time to discuss my book w/me & believed in my voice/concept enough to give me pointers on how to improve it! (1)
Revise and resubmits are the worst thing you can recieve while querying and on sub. Way worse than a simple rejection. And you can't convince me otherwise.
