How big of a shock was Dublin-Limerick? So big we missed it. Today's column on where it ranks on the shockometer and how it echoes with one year in particular that worked out very well for Cork...

For several of the GAA's great championship shocks, Kieran Shannon has been there in person. That was not the case on Saturday. He was in an off-licence when he found out Dublin had beaten Limerick.

Cork-Dublin tends to throw up magic and heroes every 15 years. Jayo in '95. Berno & Donncha in 2010. Paul Flynn & Curran, Joe and Derek Kavanagh & others on the tradition and trend the teams of 2025 are trying to follow in.

In 2010, Cork faced Dublin in an All-Ireland semi-final where sound, psychology and raw will shaped history. Kieran Shannon looks back.

Never before has a team scored more in a Cork-Kerry game, or a Dublin-Meath game or a Galway-Mayo game or an Ulster final and still lost as in 2025. Hardly coincidental. Today's column

We’ve our game back, as good as ever. And with it, even the provincial championships. The figures tell you that.

Caught up with Brian Fenton who filled us in on what life is like now outside the Dublin bubble; being kept in the dark by mates still in it; the one time he thought Dublin during the 6 in a row were beat; and his dislike yet regard for Mayo and Kerry

When he agreed to take over the O'Moore men, mouths fell open. The gifted Kerryman gave the players and people of Laois the days of their lives.

Wow. Huge ending. Tillman comes up with the 3 point play to win it after being kept quiet all game. Tralee had opportunities to score but couldn’t convert. That was entertaining. Demons v Killester rematch on the way.

Over the course of 40 years, most of our conversations were around football though not all. When Mick O'Dwyer gives your daughter money for her communion, it isn't any ordinary €20. Some refections on @Kerry_Official gold:

One fine morning in Cork Dwyer pressed twenty quid into my daughter's hand for her first communion. I felt a relationship change.

Cork historically have had a lukwarm attitude to the league - but that's rightly changed this year. Today's column. https://t.co/bXh331BX6L

1985, 2025 or whenever: it's never dull when it comes to Demons-Neptune. And one of the most celebrated rivalries in Irish sport has become even more heated after a bruising week

Massive development in Irish basketball: Demons and Neptune will have to go at it again in the Superleague q-final after a significant error on the table last Sunday. Sets something of a precedent: Demons might even want to replay the '85 Cup final after this!
