St. Josephs Noah Cameron named the July Pitcher of the Month by the Royals. Cameron was 3-0 with a 1.84 ERA and 33 strikeouts in July with opponents batting .218 against him on the month.

Tranquill left practice with a back injury per Andy Reid. Reid also reported Xavier Worthy, who was back at practice today, cleared concussion protocol and had no concussion.

This is solid return, as much as you hate to see Fermin go.
Bergert is a rookie this year and Kolek isn’t a free agent until 2030. The Padres desperately needing catching help and Fermin will have a chance to start. #Royals.

Not quite the move I expected. Tough to see Freddy go the way he was improving, but I think that shows the faith the Royals have in the continued improvement of Carter Jensen and Blake Mitchell.
