This pinned tweet will contain all the KH "Explained" lore posts I've done to make it easier for you guys to keep track of them. It will be updated with every new future post I make.

Get ready for a new State of Play!
Tune in this Wednesday at 10pm GMT / 11pm CET for 40 minutes covering 15+ games, including extended looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, plus more from talented developers from around the world.
No matter how rough things are, even in the deepest darkness, there's always a light shining within. You just gotta find it, and it will help guide your way.
Now that the concerts are over and to help get your minds off Nomura's cryptic message, here's the full artwork of the Organization 13 members playing their instruments!

"The Power of Waking explained"
"The Power of Waking" is an ability that Keyblade wielders can obtain, with the intended purpose of waking a person's heart from slumber and restoring it to its original state. It grants other abilities that I'll explain below.

I always found it interesting how Master Xehanort literally stole all of Sora's light during the finally boss fight. I find it even more interesting that Sora was able to concentrate and reclaim it all back by force while in his Rage form.

BREAKING: All Twitter accounts will have an “X” appended to the end of their handles and display names.
Users can subscribe to Twitter blue for the option to remove the X.
I really like how the cover art for a numbered Kingdom Hearts game
teases a world we will visit in the next numbered game. Honestly can't wait for KH4!

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the offical announcement of Kingdom Hearts 3! The first teaser trailer was shown at E3 during PlayStation's conference!
What was your reaction to the teaser?
"Xion's Return Explained"
Xion's return in KH3 isn't entirely elaborated on in the easiest way possible, so I figured I'd give everyone a simple and clean breakdown on how she returned and became a member of the 13 Seekers of Darkness.

"Xehanort's Time Travel Explained"
It's time to explore Xehanort's method of time traveling. This can be pretty confusing at first, but I'm gonna do my best to make it easier for everyone to understand.

"The 3 Families Explained"
Throughout the course of the series, we've seen many different kinds of Keyblades, each with their own unique designs, powers, and abilities. However, all Keyblades (except the X-blade) are organized into 3 categories based on origin.

Fun KH Lore Fact
#12
During the start of the Keyblade War, the 7 Guardians of Light consisted of
1.Sora
2.Riku
3.Kairi
4.Mickey
5.Aqua
6.Lea
7. Ven
Later on, due to Lea being injured and Kairi getting abducted, Terra and Roxas became their official replacements

:
The reason why Roxas throws the Oblivion Keyblade to Riku is because of Xion. A small part of her resided within Roxas and made him perform those actions in order to help Riku prevent him from confronting the organization.
#KingdomHearts
People who say this didn't really pay attention to KH1. There are multiple hints throughout the story that Riku was the chosen one, and you clearly see multiple people wield other Keyblades besides the Kingdom Key.
"Xemnas' Friends Explained"
Xemnas is a special "Nobody" born from Apprentice Xehanort and is the leader of Organization 13. What makes him special is that he was born from someone who had two hearts within their body. The hearts of Master Xehanort and Terra.

Sora being the reason the Darkness arrives in Quadratum, would be a great way to develop his character and teach him that his actions have consequences. Abusing the power of waking banished him from his home while also bringing a threat to the people of Quadratum.

The Kingdom Hearts lore isn't really that complicated. There are a lot of things to remember, but all the answers are explained in the games themselves. You may not grasp all the info on your first playthrough, but the answers are there, and within the reports u collect.
The day people realize that Kingdom Hearts isn't that complicated is probably the same day they see that their favorite RPG series is probably more complicated

:
If Ventus failed to forge the X-blade with Vanitas, Aqua would have been used as a "backup." She is considered a good replacement because she views light as absolute due to Eraqus' teachings and contains a strong heart full of light.

"Reality and Unreality Explained"
With KH4 on the way, I figured I'd do my best to give a simplified explanation (based on what we know) of both Sora's Reality and Yozora's Unreality to help give fans a general idea of what to expect for the next saga.

Happy 36th Birthday to Haley Joel Osment (
@HaleyJoelOsment
)! He provides the voices for Sora and Vanitas across the entire Kingdom Hearts series!
I'm gonna bring this old post back. Now I don't honestly believe the Master of Masters will end up being Sora (I really hope he's his own character), but you gotta admit, the parallels are scary when you really think about it lol 👀
#KingdomHearts
Always thought it was cool that Roxas sees himself in an organization 13 coat right before he fights Twilight Thorn. Almost like its symbolizing that his old memories are fighting to return, but he refuses to take them back.
#KingdomHearts
Don't mind me, just here still waiting and hoping that one of the next Kingdom Hearts games will finally give us a party of Sora, Riku and Kairi fighting together!
#KingdomHearts
Xehanort: "One more life to explore the new world" (14 lifetimes)
Yozora: "This isn't what I really look like."
Nameless Star: "His heart replaced by another's."
Xehanort = Anagram for "Another" 👀🤔

"Lingering Will Explained"
Terra's hatred from losing his body to Master Xehanort and his strong feelings towards his friends that have manifested and possessed his Keyblade Armor. He was first introduced as a secret boss in KH2 Final Mix and returned in KH3.

They need to move away from putting important lore within app games. I'm still hoping we will get remakes of Union Cross and Dark Road later on down the line. Whether they be cutscenes movies like "Back Cover" or full-on games on consoles.
