One of my LTs... just checked in... is young enough to be my child... I'm gonna go lay down before I break a hip or have a heart attack.

@KeraRolsen At least when they're being annoying you can just act like you don't hear them.

@KeraRolsen Makes you want to ask if their mothers know they are playing military today?

@KeraRolsen It doesn't get any better. If my daughter had stayed in she'd be a senior captain, getting ready for the majors' board. I may need a walker soon

@KeraRolsen Talked humanitarian ops during Katrina to middle schoolers, they hadn’t been born yet.

@KeraRolsen Lol. That is when I know it’s time to retire. I had Soldiers check in who were born after I enlisted. Know it was time to turn it over to the new generation. But yea. I felt real old every time a new one reported.

@KeraRolsen My dad worked with juvenile offenders and the basic career progression was: the kids seem so young, the cops seem so young, the lawyers seem so young, and finally the judges seem so young.

@KeraRolsen It gets easier. I’m a nurse, having an intern the same age as my kids was traumatic.
