Thorpedo Anna cooling out in the test barn. Nothing obvious at this time. We will need to clean her up and go over her tomorrow morning to get some clarity. The bumper cars in the first turn concern me and hopefully she didn’t get injured long term. Obviously we are.

I just spoke to Dr. Bramlage @roodandriddle and he’s confident that Princess Warrior will be saved. She’s going to need her sesamoids fused and he gives her 75% chance to become a broodmare. Her recuperation will take time and we are committed to giving her every chance.

Thorpedo Anna will continue to train daily at the Oklahoma side training track Monday through Saturday at 5:30am. She’s a creature of habit and goes early. @TheNYRA will allow fans inside early starting this Wednesday. Our stable is located at 131 Fifth Ave and she will be.

To be clear, she is a very strong filly to gallop, at some point she had a sore inside her mouth we watched and it wouldn’t heal. After the Breeder’s Cup thinking time off it would heal, it didn’t. Scan, X-rays found a small splinter of a bone was the problem and needed.
🚨🚨🚨Breaking: Thorpedo Anna had a broken bone in her jaw removed this week. Sequestrum (piece of dead bone) was discovered through scans recently. The filly ran w/ it in winning Cotillion & BC Distaff, per @KennyMcPeek : “She’s tough as nails.” Hear more from McPeek on the HHH.

I have a Question? Why is it that in a Kentucky Derby points race, shouldn’t the horses run at Equal weights like the Triple Crown races? Mo Donegal & Tiz The Bomb carrying 6 pounds more than Giant Game. Same last weekend in Southwest. Points races should be equal weight IMO.

I won’t step foot into the Baseball HOF until Pete Rose has been inducted. He wasn’t a perfect person but as a player he was unmatched. He never bet against his own team, he believed in his team. 🙏🏻.
