This magnificent coach was displayed before the races on Coaching Club American Oaks day at Saratoga. In addition to other info, the 😍horses' names were announced. Does anyone have related info?. Would be fun if this was done between races some year, when more people are there.

A Rokeby set heads to the track for trainer Mack Miller, some early AM in 1990. These yellow sets were an institution at Saratoga. I drove around the Oklahoma trying to find a match for this spot this AM. Thought it was Pletcher area, but nope. Same for George Weaver. Anyone?

CHIEF'S CROWN finally gave Angel Cordero a Travers win in 1985 - the King of Saratoga's 14th try!. 45,067, reportedly the 2nd-largest Travers crowd ever by then, sent CHIEF'S CROWN off at 6-5. And the colt, 2nd in the Preakness and 3rd in the Derby/Belmont, got his 1 1/4 G1 win.

I'm sure many of you remember that the connections of the excellent Charon were so game in challenging Go For Wand repeatedly. This was their third attempt . and Go for Wand won the Alabama by 7 lengths. They were convinced.😆.
