I set it down. Sure. I got tangled in it. I let it wrap me in knots until all I wanted to do was break it in two... but when I'd healed enough, I picked it back up. And that meant the possibilities were still there. Just enough to not be dead. (which is enough to be alive.)

And I know it's obnoxious AF to imply that just "not giving up" is enough, because, babes, we know that's literally not true. BUT, I do know that following this thread all the way to here couldn't have happened if I snipped it when I wanted to.

So much has happened since I started this project back during #Nanowrimo of 2018... I can't believe I get to say I SOLD this little @NaNoWriMo book. I think almost every aspect of my personal life, my writing career, my other career, and my concept-of-self has changed.
