WOAH! Schwartz I don't mind. He's been doing some great stuff in Cleveland! Gannon.... There would be riots! Ultimately let's continue to spread positive vibes that Fangio will return for at least this season! šŸ¤ž #FlyEaglesFly

Wow! And now add on since this tweet you get Mannion with the LaFleur playbook & influence and Grizzard with the McDaniel/Shanahan-influence. You can leave the room Sirianni. This offense is going to the moon! #FlyEaglesFly

Matt LaFleur’s playbook is awesome — Mannion’s first order of business should be shredding Sirianni’s playbook and starting with LaFleur’s. It includes: -Routes that actually cross the field 🤯 -Under Center Play Action 😮 -Less Hitch routes šŸ•ŗšŸ¼ OH MY!

The first three are no-brainers. Davis earned his extension. Carter you can keep him and see what you got, but his cap number is huge. Brown showed limited to zero value on D or special teams last season (and he hurt Makuba!) I can see the Eagles wanting to keep Ringo.

Cap clearing moves that would clear space immediately per OTV: -Jordan Carter extension -can free up max $9.378M -Michael Carter release -$8.736M saved -Sydney Brown trade/release -$1.533M -Kelee Ringo trade/release -$1.145M Max additional savings: $20.792M #FlyEaglesFly

New #Eagles OC Sean Mannion has never called plays in an NFL game, but was the OC for the West team at the Shrine Bowl earlier this week. While most of the offensive install were fairly simple, there's some Matt LaFleur and Kyle Shanahan influences in the small sample size.

A minimum salary cap increase of $22M for 2026.

The NFL informed clubs today it is projecting a 2026 salary cap in the range of $301.2 million to $305.7 million per club, per source. That would represent another significant jump from this year’s $279.2 million cap number, and nearly $100M than the $208.2M cap in 2022.

If Patullo returns, which isn't a good idea in my opinion for next year, he will be further demoted. Lost OC and wouldnt be able to return to his Pass Game Coordinator role. It's like any break-up. Time apart is good. Even if Coach is your best friend. #FlyEaglesFly

Now this is actually awesome. Bucs had a top 5 pass offense with Grizzard as pass game coordinator, but fell off when he was calling plays. He brings a lot more experience. Also this means Patullo wont resume his old role. #Eagles

The #Eagles making another hire to Sean Mannion coaching staff. Grizzard comes with 9 years experience most recently OC last season in Tampa & Pass Game Coordinator in '24. The Bucs struggled mightily with injuries in '25, but were top 3 passing offense in '24. #FlyEaglesFly

More help in Philadelphia: Eagles are hiring former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard as their pass game coordinator, per sources. Grizzard now will join new Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion to lead Philadelphia’s offense.

There has to be a team willing to take the shot on a rising star. There is always going to be risk with inexperienced coaches. But it could pay off to be taking this shot and jumping the line. Based on recent Eagles OC history, Mannion is taking a risk too! #FlyEaglesFly

The hiring of Sean Mannion as OC is a HUGE risk for Eagles coach Nick Sirianni. The former NFL QB has been a coach for just two years, with no play-calling experience. He's well-respected and considered a rising star, but a very unproven commodity.

He absolutely should be given every opportunity to call plays, build his own offense and be THE offensive coordinator. Toss the Sirianni scheme/playbook in the garbage and let's do this thing right! #FlyEaglesFly

Eagles fans liken Siriannis inability to promote inexperienced, first-time play callers from within with all inexperienced, first-time playcallers not being good or worth the risk. I disagree. The Eagles get out ahead of other teams for a bright, young OC. #FlyEaglesFly

Such an interesting point! Andy Reid had 5 years experience in the NFL as TE/Assistant OL coach before 2 years as the Packers QB coach. Ultimately, becoming Eagles Head Coach in 1999! The rest is history. Mannion has only 2 years coaching experience but... Significant

A final, less appealing name, who would fall under the category of an experienced play-caller would be Todd Downing. Current Patriots Wide Receivers coach. He spent time as TE coach/OC in TENN while AJ Brown was there. In '21, the season before Brown left, he called plays.
