Controversial opinion maybe but it’s so fucked up what nu SpongeBob has done to this character. Plankton being married to a computer monitor on a dolly is way funnier than Karen basically becoming every other type of fictional tv-faced robot.

I am like 95% sure this show shares DNA with Rise of The TMNT, which is another really underrated action show. You need to watch both of these if you want western action shows, they're fucking bonkers.

The fucked up thing is, I think it wouldn't even be that hard to make a "hollywood" Sonic movie. The Adventure games have the tone and pacing of some fun action shlock from the 90s/early 2000s. We just got fucked over by nature of it being a by the numbers family movie.
