This is what recovery looks like. The wood stork has officially been removed from the federal list of endangered and threatened wildlife. 🎉

When I went to Dinosaur Valley in 2023, I heard a rustling in the brush along the river, and saw a beaver building a dam. I had a magical moment, literally walking along the footprints of those who once roamed the earth, and beheld which creatures inherited it. It must be saved.
PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE! Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, Tx is in danger!!! Please help spread the word. They want to install a 2600 ACRE data center there that will destroy the natural resources.

Because Batman is canonically a paleo-enthusiast, I wonder if young Bruce Wayne ever spent time arguing with people on the Carnivora forums or obsessing over megatheropod mass estimates

Look at how many sense organs (little black dots) are clustered around the cloaca!!! It makes sense why that would be the case but it’s so cool.

this was just a brief thought I had not based on any literature. It’s an issue I’m familiar with in paleoart, where pathology is misinterpreted as morphology- if I knew this tweet would get so much traction I’d have used softer language. Any paleoanthropologist please weigh in.
Been looking at the “barefoot running” Reddit today. I think our reconstructions of early human feet are deeply flawed, because all the available references are of people who wear shoes that compact the feet. These feet are surprisingly ape-like.

Happy International Women in Science Day! Pictured here is me and one of the key Diplodocus skin specimens that led to our recent discovery on Dippy Colors 🦕🌈

The secret to making it big on twitter is posting about feet apparently

International Day for Women and Girls in Science. Wouldn’t it be nice though not to have a day like this, bc it just wasn’t needed bc everyone sat on the table as equals&was respected as such? I look forward to the day where we no longer need to have a special day of recognition
