This came up in copyedits for GARDEN OF THE CURSED and after trying to google it for like 40 mins I gave up. Admitted defeat. Changed the phrasing. Accepted that I will just never understand what this phrase means and must carry on in my life never using it again.
I have come to accept that I was born to late to ever be able to appreciate or understand why a given usage of “begs the question” is wrong. I’m sorry but that is elder millennial and up business. I’ll never be able to see why it’s wrong.
