I would like to understand why councillors who are representatives of other communities are allowed a vote in this poll. I am genuinely frightened to take my small children on to Mill Road when the traffic is either bumper to bumper or cars speed dangerously past narrow footpaths
Councillors have voted 8-7 to reopen Mill Road back to traffic while a consultation takes place on a bus gate scheme that would include exemptions, and other changes. Residents have been let down for safe travel. Scenes like this will return for 6 months, bringing back problems.
