Out today! New research from the awesome @Kateehalstead @ONEPlanetDTP on the effect of Storms Arwen and Barra on Oak trees (Quercus robur and Q. petraea). Unusual wind direction (northerly) seemed to cause more windsnap vs other comparable storms ('87) https://t.co/MPqhtV0SJu
