I have struck mathematical gold with these ten puzzles from an Op Shop. Great timing as well as @nomad_penguin and I are co ducting professional learning sessions that have a focus on teaching mathematics through problem solving. I feel like my @questacon days are returning

Super excited about this special delivery. I had a lovely encounter with Karen Karp @icme_15 discussing mathematics and today , as promised I received a signed copy of the recent version of Elementary and Middle School Mathematics. Guess what I’ll be reading!

Final plenary @icme15 by Prof Jason Sharples in the mathematics of fire. It was great to hear the many mathematical concepts that span from the primary to tertiary years and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives of fire.
