Our latest research delves into the UK's food prices from 2013-2023, amidst the cost-of-living crisis. Despite the inflationary surge post-2021, healthy foods saw smaller relative price increases but remain pricier, perhaps increasing dietary inequalities. https://t.co/ZBNymIsWab

In a proof-of-concept review, we categorised 31 interventions and found that Depth classification appeared to be linked to intervention equity, but the relationship with effectiveness was less clear.

Yet, the nuances of this remain poorly understood. We developed the Depth framework identifying key constructs that shape agentic demand: exposure, mechanism of action, and engagement, combined to provide a 20 category matrix for classifying agentic demand

Building on @jeanmadams & co work identifying that population Health Interventions vary in the degree of personal resources required to benefit from interventions - those that demand low levels of resources are likely to be most effective and equitable.

Pleased to finally be able to share the results of this project. Great to talk to many people to understand how this might be used in research and practice
Excited that this work, a long time in gestation, will be presented today at @TheLancet #publichealth conference in London by the fantastic @KateGarrott Looking forward also to seeing the full paper published soon (under review). The #Depth #Framework

What an interesting rapid fire presentation delivered by @KateEllis8 on conceptualising and measuring agentic demands of population health interventions. 20 intervention groups created from different exposure, engagement, and mechanism of action.
