New paper out! 🎉. First study to systematically explore potential mechanisms of four basic #meditation techniques and what works for whom. Body awareness, decentering and emotion regulation improved reliably for all techniques. More results ⬇️.

The scientific publishing system is fundamentally flawed. Governments pay the scientists who do the research, write, review and edit the papers and the libraries who pay the subscriptions, while private businesses make a huge profit of it. Great article:.

I’m currently reading this wonderful book, which is truly eye-opening and amazingly well written. Each chapter is a revelation on our innate human #kindness. It seems we’re hardwired for friendliness and sociability and warfare only emerged after we settled down… #humankind

Another episode of “Thank you for traveling with @DB_Bahn”: First they cancel all ICE from Berlin to Greifswald without replacement, then they do not bother to send a longer RE to accommodate all passengers. So after waiting 1,5h for this train, I have to spend 3h standing 😱🤯🙈
