Overwatch 2 update from the Dev Chat:. Original PvE vision from 2019 is no more. Talent trees scrapped, and there will be no standalone version. It's just little bits of PvE such as missions/stories released with each PvP season as part of their live service. Man. π’.

I think Marvel Rivals is pretty fun, especially the chaos of learning all the new heroes they added. But after this initial honeymoon phase wears off I think this game needs some form of Role Lock badly. It was NOT fun playing 0 tanks 4 dps 2 supports, or 1 tank 5 dps.

Sigma's shield moves at the same speed as Rein charge so you can protect him from Roadhog hooks and other CC for a clean pin. Lucio's speed amp also works to speed both Rein AND the moving shield.

New MCCREE DEADEYE doesn't lock your camera anymore so you can make full 180-360 degree turns as long as you have skulls locked in. Could be good if you build skull then Genji dashes behind you for example

I'm honestly so over the dynamic map gimmick in Marvel Rivals. The moving parts on Hells Heaven blocking my abilities or the Royal Palace randomly repairing a pillar in my face is more frustrating than "wow that was neat". I could do without it now. Game's still fun tho

Unlocking old heroes is for literally *NEW* players. The onboarding experience is INCREDIBLY important for new player retention. There's something called the "paradox of choice" where a person presented with too many options feel stressed out and overwhelmed.

Everyone's having a good time remembering how strong certain abilities were but I'm just gonna remind people NOT TO PICK DVA in this mode she was truly awful on release . Matrix on 10s CD, no micro missile, dva bomb took 25% longer to blow up AND it can kill dva herself π.

Ok if you're trying to find ways to nerf Sojourn without gutting the hero here's my suggestion. She can hold rail charge for 8 seconds right now. 8 FKIN SECONDS. 8 sec -> 4 sec. Start there. I think its reasonable, forces players to shoot more often, less random rail picks.

Doomfist buff idea:. Give CC immunity during Power Block. Powerblock just screams "CC me" with Sombra hack or Ana sleep atm. Orisa Fortify and Zarya Bubble both have CC immunity, and powerblock is still conditional cuz u gotta soak dmg. Thoughts, DF community?.

the most frustrating OW2 bug rn is peoples voice chat icon not showing up when they're talking. mfs be saying "tracer on me" but I don't know who's "me". Apparently this is caused by volume threshold, you can hear them but the game thinks they're too quiet so no icon shows up.

Wait. Nano boost / damage boost + Sombra EMP got stealth nerfed this patch LOL. It doesn't work anymore π€·π€·. In clip I took normal 40% of max health despite Sombra being boosted. I also tried with standalone mercy boost / just nano boost and same thing. only did 80HP dmg

I found out that Baptiste's Immortality Field only goes vertically a short and fixed distance if you aim it at the sky, unlike Ana nade or Orisa shield for example. Sombra's EMP hacks the drone ONLY if it's deployed, not if it's in the air, so I tried reacting to it.

My Roadhog rework thoughts: . This makes Hog objectively better, 1 shotting is easier, pig pen has some neat utility, but he sounds way more unkillable than before. Hog players will like this. Having a 30% damage reduction on a resource meter to strategically use at anytime.

Apex is one of the best background noise streams to have. As a viewer you chill and do some work while the streamer is looting, then tune in during some fights/final rings. Overwatch is always action action action which is best only if you can pay full attention.

Hot take but I think Brigitte is still REALLY good and I'm not sure why many are putting her in D tier. Shield bash lost 1x stun and got 5x buffs AND support passive healing of 15 hp/s kicks in so fast if you just hold your shield up to stop dmg for a bit.
