Wouldn’t using quantum computers toward problems they are much better advantaged to solve, make more sense? And then all other problems can be handled via classical computers (which AI runs on today, by the way). https://t.co/yILS1LapKr via @cenmag

To turn the enormous potential of quantum computing into reality, we need a shared language and goals

Rest in peace maestro. For me you were my first role model as an Japanese expatriate striving for excellence, in America and in Europe.
We would like to express our deepest condolences on the passing of Ozawa Seiji, music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra serving for approximately 30 years, and the pride of Japan as a world-class conductor. https://t.co/o0rOnAXqQk

Once knowing that curve fitting to quadratic or higher powered eqns, etc could be done with this eqn &express the 95% confidence interval etc, then maybe people will be more impressed. But since graphing softwares do that behind the scenes, it’s certainly under-appreciated.
I honestly think this is one of the most powerful ideas humans have ever discovered and it’s weird to me that we don’t talk about it as much as F=ma or E=mc²

Been seeing some comments saying these new Tesla wraps are overpriced. They're not. Here's why: This isn't really a traditional vinyl color wrap; it looks to be a urethane-based colored paint protection film (PPF). This combines the aesthetics of colored vinyl and the protection

Thank you SCI America & SHI - it was a joy to share my team's work done at Dow, with my peers in the chemical industry. Thank you for the opportunity, and thank you for organizing Innovation Day - I loved the energy of the engineers and scientists in attendance.
Congratulations to Kaoru Aou of #DowChemical, this year's Gordon E. Moore medal recipient! Today, SCI America and the Science History Institute are honoring the groundbreaking polyurethane researcher during Innovation Day in Philadelphia. Felicitations, Dr. Aou!

I wonder if hydrogen gas deposits also exists close enough to major urban centers? If this enables < $1/kg hydrogen today already, then there might be incentives for some countries to invest in a hydrogen economy at least for fleet vehicles and ships…?

What a life he lived, and just how much changed in his lifetime... I regret not ever getting to meet him, but I think with familiar concepts like Moore's Law, and Intel being the only processor many of us knew about for a while, he was present everywhere… https://t.co/sdXgANrLtc
