Dear Senator, Speaking of fences, why is barbed wire still allowed to be used in fencing. This practice does immeasurable amount of damage and death to our Native Animals. It's principal purpose is to injure or maim animals to a slow death. Please give it some thought. Sincerely.
Last year, 19 eastern quolls were reintroduced into a specially built 80-hectare sanctuary at Booderee National Park. It’s protected by a purpose-built fence to keep out predators, and designed to give these endangered animals the best chance of survival.
