Like I think this is a sentiment thats really popular with Frontiers specifically I dont think there being a mod to fix every niche problem with Frontiers is evidence that Frontiers is an extremely flawed game, I think that just means Frontiers is a really mod-friendly game

There are tons of bad games like Sonic Blast that dont have mods and tons of good games like Kid Icarus Uprising that have no mods, the quality of a game is not indicated by the amount of mods to fix problems that it has thats just not a good correlation

Love how Sonic having a big modding scene just completely backfired cause instead of ppl seeing it as a cool thing exclusive to our community cause we're so dedicated its seen as a thing we only do cause without it these games would be unplayable lol

Sonic modders are not trying to "save" the franchise, whether you think the franchise is doing good or bad the fact that people are modding a game isnt proof that the game NEEDS mods its proof that the modding scene is huge

I think its a little silly to believe that Sonic fans HAVE to mod these games "just to get the experience they marketed" Especially when the examples given are games that casuals still clearly like unmodded like these games still review p good with general audiences

Its so crazy how often people tell me they just forget to use the Emerald Powers in Sonic Superstars when theyre useful like are THEY limited or did you just not use them then blame the game for not forcing you to
@524caret im ngl despite the bosses functionally being harder you are still playing the best character in the game with all the emerald powers so the bosses felt overall easier to me like you need multiple emeralds to free up lagoon city like this in the main story but here you just do it

like i swear im not trying to be rude i just LITERALLY think Roger's Sonic like 14 years ago is considerably better than his performance as Sonic in current year his voice sounds lower and more monotone to me and I feel like he says his lines slower Im not into it

if you dropped last story and changed NOTHING ELSE then the game is basically the same except now people dont feel the need to do an epilogue and a horrible boss just to say they beat it "authentically" cause its not like the base ending is unsatisfying like its perfectly fine

its really funny to me that this game would be better received if there was LESS content in it cause if the true ending was just not in the game BASICALLY nothing changes and people wouldnt feel the need to play the whole game twice just to feel like they "properly" beat it
