Beyond this, UTSW provided me with the space to explore my passions in clinical research, medical education, and health system science.

The PCIM clinic grounded me in the privilege of continuity, of knowing patients not just as cases but as people. I especially cherished my hybrid rotations, with a soft spot for VA clinic days that reminded me why I chose this path of IM.

28 MICU calls deepened my resilience in its rawest form. Wards and nights, whether at Parkland, Clements, or the VA, allowed me to lead with independence and clarity.

I can hardly believe it's been three years! As I close this chapter at UTSW, I'm filled with deep gratitude for a journey that stretched and shaped me.

The surprising part of becoming a better #teacher wasn’t learning how to explain things clearly. It was letting go of needing to look smart all the time. A good question builds trust. 🙏🏾 A real pause gives permission. Effective teaching is a lot about #listening.
