Meme coins aren't securities. They also 9x out of 10 have no use or function. If the @SEC isn't the legal entity over meme coins, then Congress needs to put together a framework governing them. - Remove anonymity. - Provide a disclaimer over misleading tokenomics. - End
WOW. The SEC just said that meme coins are generally NOT considered securities under US federal law. They also said that meme coins have "limited or no use" and do not need to be registered with the SEC. This is a MASSIVE statement by the SEC.
