Under 2025 Presidency of 🇨🇦, G7 FMs discussed Russia’s devasting war in Ukraine & underscored their commitment to help achieve a durable peace & a strong, prosperous 🇺🇦. They reaffirmed the need to develop robust security guarantees to ensure the war will not begin again.

PM Trudeau also underscored the continued importance of support for peace and freedom in 🇺🇦 as 🇨🇦 prepares to assume the G7 Presidency in January 2025, with both leaders expressing the need for continued sanctions against Russia.
