Anxiety has me convinced the world is ending, but the show must go on. So I will just have a silent panic attack in the bathroom, check my hair in the mirror, and walk back out there like I run the place. It is all an act, and I deserve an Oscar for this performance.

Well, you see, when you become a grandparent, the government gives you a bigger house because you're required by law to have a dedicated cookie-baking station and a room full of noisy toys for grandchildren to leave everywhere. It's in the constitution.
9yo asked me "Why are grandparent houses are always bigger than parent houses? Shouldn't it be the other way around?" Oh boy.
