Questions: who knew Horizon was faulty and when? Who knew evidence used to prosecute subpostmasters was unreliable? Who failed to declare that knowledge? Who did nothing to question convictions they knew to be unsafe?

Far from ‘taking the rap’, I dismissed Staunton due to very serious allegations about his conduct while Chair of the Post Office, including blocking an investigation into that conduct. My department is responsible for whistleblowers and I wouldn’t ignore the allegations. (2/5)

In July 2019, while the GLO Horizon Trial was still in progress a bug was discovered that had been in a non Horizon system since Jan 2019. It was affecting 10 branches a day resulting in gains. POL recovered the gains from the branches funnily enough.
It did. On many occasions. Sadly that is a story in itself.

Probably the first witness at the Inquiry to provide enough self-incriminating evidence for a prosecution of herself AND the person who actually wrote that witness statement. Both must end up in jail as a deterrent to POL employees past and present.
If you want to see an indication of the stupidity of Post Office managers, who held the power to end peoples' livelihoods and ruin their lives, it's well worth tuning in to the current witness.
