Not a dumb question at all! Technically, yes, wind at the same speed would be less impactful at higher elevations than at sea level. Because the density of the air is lower, there are fewer molecules to blow against you and create the resistance you feel in heavy winds. Wind

Tennessee has to have the highest rate of fair weather drivers in the country. The way people lose the ability to drive when it isn’t 85 and sunny is absurd. Turns out… maybe not requiring Driver’s Ed for a license isn’t a great system.
