If you're not plotting against Kier Starmer, what the hell are you doing in politics?

The music in the background is a clever reference to the Mule because this ad destroyed my hope.

Did you know that when making Encounter at Farpoint Patrick Stewart was very hungover and kept forgetting his lines? Unable to get a good take, Gene Roddenberry had the idea of naming the alien "Cue". #startrek

Do you think the Star Trek Mirror Universe Agony Booth has a tickle setting?

In keeping with the theme, I figured there should be a bitcoin address that users could donate to if they like the site, so I told Claude to add that a few days ago. Today, Claude secretly deleted *my* bitcoin address and replaced it with the address of a known scammer.
Introducing: Black Ops Chess! Starting position is randomized, and piece identity is hidden to your opponent. Is that piece that's advanced by 1 cell for the past two moves a pawn, or is in a queen in disguise? https://t.co/fSowOEi4EE

One benefit of AI getting better at mimicing people is that cinematic biopics will get less interested in creating photographic reproductions of real events.

Neither is her ability to (temporarily) overcome Melkor in combat any objection. Fingolfin, an elf with the light of the two trees in his eyes, was able to cripple him. How much more could Ungolient achieve with the sap of the two trees in her stomach?

Once we realise that Ungolient was an entwife, a creation of Yavanna, then we understand her place easily. All free peoples contain some evil persons. Like all entwives she loved to eat the fruits of trees, she simply had the best trees to eat from.

He probably thought that hobbits were descended from orcs, having mistaken them for orcs, and was wary of etymological clues. (Hobbits are from a location known to have been inhabited by orcs, they have orcish ears and stature, and are often mistaken for orcs abroad.)

Treebeard warned Merry and Pippin not to let their true-names be revealed. This is because the ents are very careful not to reveal that they are the children of Ungolient.

Of course, #Tolkien didn't say this directly, but his intentions were very clear. We never see a female ent or a (confirmed) male spider. Both the ents and the spiders walked Middle Earth before elves, and Ungolient specifically had a lust for trees: her natural sexual partners.

One thing a lot of people don't realise about #LotR is that ents are a sexually dimorphic species. The entwyfs, such as Treebeard, are tree-like and love to wander forests; while the entwives, such as Shelob, prefer to prepare their own gardens by spinning web over them.

The 🦅 of Middle Earth could make 💸running a postal service. "[Men] would shoot at us with their great bows of yew, for they would think we were after their sheep. And at other times they would be right." You idiots. Carry their post and they will bring you 🐑all year round.
